Laksia Satheeswaran

Hi, it's Laksia! From the school visits I've been to this year, I've really loved seeing the rationale of the society and being able to help reduced young children's anxiety around healthcare, so I'd love to continue my contributions to the society by becoming part of the incredible committee, who works so hard to put enable us to do this.

As someone who lives by organisation and uses probably more than a sane number of excel spreadsheets, I'd like to be TBH secretary because I think I could coordinate volunteers for the visits well and further improve the communications. Some of my ideas include pairing up new volunteers with mentors who can help them with the station, getting feedback from volunteers to make timely improvements and working with the publicity officer to produce short videos/top tips for volunteers to encourage sign ups for people who are unsure how the society works.
