Hi I’m Mingma and I’m running for liaison officer for PHEM!

As liaison officer, I hope to regularly communicate with organisations and professionals involved in pre-hospital emergency medicine to discover potential speakers for PHEM talks, network and collaborate with external societies on joint events and workshops, and liaise with associations to arrange potential mentorship and shadowing programmes for members.

Having furthered my interest in pre-hospital emergency medicine and acute care by attending the PHEM talks, I am very eager to be a part of this society. As a member of a local action group, I have had first-hand experience liaising with various charity organisations to help fundraise for them and raise awareness. My organisational and communication skills which I have developed in this role would also be of benefit to the society as a liaison officer, and in supporting the committee members in the events they put on throughout the year.
