Ho Ying Lam

I am currently a second year Chemical Engineering student, and have been volunteering with Soup Run Society for these two years.

Hopefully, like me, everyone has been enjoying Soup Run. Personally, volunteering has brought me a sense of fulfillment and a feeling of connection to humanity. Despite our busy schedules at Imperial, it's heartwarming to see so many members volunteer their Sunday evenings for a good cause.

If elected, I will carefully operate Soup Run Society and carry the goodwill of our members to the community around us. I would like to organise more interactive charitable activities on top of Sunday volunteering with the Children of Adam organisation, such as bakesales and fundraising events. I will also endeavour to bring more volunteering opportunities to our members by reaching out and connecting to other charities.

I will aim to run Soup Run Society in a way that responds to the needs of the community as well as our volunteers, taking in and responding to feedback from members. My goal is to make volunteering a wonderful and insightful experience for everyone, so if your ideals align with my vision, please vote Ho Ying Lam for Soup Run Coordinator.
