Hello everyone! My name is Arjun and I am running for Vice President of Education at RCSU.
Without any further ado, I'm excited to show you what the year ahead would have in store if I'm elected as RCSU Vice President of Education.
My Ideas:
- Streamlining of UROP opportunities across all departments through a portal, and increased term-time research opportunities
- Improve the ePortfolio for LifeSciences students❗❗❗
- Advocate for better feedback loops for coursework and assessments, including more focus on 1-on-1 feedback
- Advocate for writing policies that are mindfully cognizant of AI
- More interdepartmental/interdiscplinary learning opportunities including but not limited to project-based learning
My Previous Leadership Experience:
- Assistant Director @ Harvard MUN (only highschooler chosen into the committee)
- Founder of the Science Club at my Sixth Form (published the school's first research journal)
- Head of 7 chapter w/ Freebiolabs (led teams across 7 cities to combat lab access inequities)
