Vritika Ravisangar
As a medical student who is passionate about innovation and women’s health, I am excited to apply for Conference Chair of FemTech. I believe that FemTech holds the key to transforming healthcare by addressing the unique challenges women face and offering solutions that are both evidence-based and technologically advanced.
My aims are:
- Facilitate impactful conferences that highlight innovations and opportunities in FemTech.
- By collaborating with the committee and industry experts, I will organise a diverse range of talks and panel discussions that focus on critical areas such as reproductive health, mental health, and chronic conditions disproportionately affecting women.
- I plan to foster an inclusive environment where a variety of specialists as well as emerging voices in the field can share insights and spark meaningful conversations that will inspire members.
- I will ensure our event promotes change - from hearing about groundbreaking research to showcasing startups creating real-world solutions.
My previous experience of assisting with a global health initiative, surgical society subcommittee, and aiding in a QIP has given me insight into organising events, leading teams, and collaborating with multidisciplinary groups which will enable me to ensure seamless conference execution, while the focus remains on inclusivity to broaden the audience.
I am excited for the opportunity to apply my skills in this potential role in organising conferences that raise awareness, drive progression and create lasting change in women’s healthcare.
