Ayma Ahmed
Hi, I’m Ayma, and I’m excited to be running for Early Years and Outreach Officer for Students for Global Health Imperial! As a second-year medical student, I’m passionate about global health and eager to help others get involved. This role is a perfect fit for me because I’ve spent years supporting students through tutoring, mentoring, and outreach, and I know how to engage and inspire people at every level of their education.
Global health is close to my heart because it addresses key issues like healthcare inequality, access to medicines, and climate change. I’ve worked with organizations like ICSM Vision and the Sutton Trust, supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds and advocating for equal opportunities. I’m driven by a desire to make a difference, and this role would let me share that passion with others!
As Early Years and Outreach Officer, I’ll focus on welcoming new members and creating fun, inclusive opportunities for first-year students to explore global health topics. I’m dedicated to making learning engaging and accessible, and I want to build connections with local schools and community groups to raise awareness about global health.
With my experience organizing educational events and workshops, I’m confident I can lead impactful initiatives. If you’re looking for someone approachable, passionate, and ready to bring fresh energy to the role, I’d love your vote!
