Hello, dear students! I am William and I have been studying in the UK for six years. I worked as an International Student Boarding Prefect at Dulwich College, and I am well aware of the difficulties and needs of international students studying in a foreign country. With my respect and love for multiculturalism and my deep affection for the international student community, I have decided to run for the position of International Student Campaigns Officer.
Over the past few years, I have accumulated a wealth of experience in providing services to international students, ranging from accommodation arrangements to catering, from sports activities to cultural exchange activities, I have been personally involved in all of them, and I strive to provide the most considerate and thoughtful services to international students.
Now, I hope to bring this passion and experience to Imperial College and continue to shine for international students. If I am honoured to be elected as the International Student Welfare Officer, I will be committed to building a more open, inclusive and supportive platform for international students. I will listen to the voices of every international student, pay attention to their practical needs, and endeavour to solve the problems they encounter in study, life and cultural adaptation. At the same time, I will also actively encourage exchange activities to enhance the friendship and understanding between international students and domestic students, and jointly create a harmonious and diversified campus cultural atmosphere.
