Hi there! I’m Akshita Barwad, an international student from India, studying MRes Biomedical Research at Imperial. I absolutely love dogs, meeting new people, exploring fun places, and helping others! While I might be a little shy at first, once we get chatting, you won’t be able to stop me!

As your International Students Campaigns Officer, I want to make sure every international student feels right at home. I’ll focus on:

Support: Making sure you have all the help you need with academics, visas, and finding a comfy place to stay.
Friendship: Organizing fun social events so we can all make friends and create beautiful memories together!
