Data Science: Head of Interdisciplinary Modelling
Hello, I’m Adi, a second-year Mathematics student, and I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Head of Interdisciplinary Modelling at the Data Science Society for the upcoming year. My background includes 2 data related internships at S&P Global and Fujitsu. Additionally, I have won research prizes in computational fluid dynamics and achieved success in various hackathons.
My goals as Head of Interdisciplinary Modelling include:
- Promoting Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Organizing events with the Computational Biology Society, Algorithmic Trading Society, and Renewable Energy Society to foster interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
- Launching New Modelling Projects: Collaborating with the Advanced Team to initiate innovative modelling projects, with a special focus on AIHack.
- Exploring AI Applications: Hosting a comprehensive series on AI applications across different industries to highlight the transformative potential of artificial intelligence.
- Strengthening Industry Partnerships: Building robust connections with industry professionals in the UK through Imperial-X and facilitating analytics projects for businesses to provide practical experience and networking opportunities for our members.
My experience, attention to detail, and collaborative approach make me a strong candidate for this role. I am eager to contribute to the growth and success of the Data Science Society by enhancing interdisciplinary modelling initiatives.
