Eve-Marie Cook
I am excited to apply for the role of Secretary for iPRAS. This role requires strong organisational and administrative skills, built on excellent communication. My experience as Head Girl has equipped me with these skills through coordinating large-scale events and effectively distributing information, demanding strict attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Though this experience was prior to university, I have continued to develop these qualities by balancing my studies with extracurriculars.
Through being elected as the Education Officer for ICSM Netball for next year, I will create and distribute resources and coordinate tutorials, further enhancing my ability to manage information flow.
As Secretary, I will bring careful attention to detail when taking minutes during meetings, ensuring they are accurate and promptly shared. I will maintain clear communication with iPRAS members through the monthly newsletter, keeping everyone updated on events and important information. Drawing on my previous experiences, I will successfully organise and make accessible all relevant information for both the committee and society members. I will be friendly and approachable for all queries and requests. iPRAS has fueled my passion for plastic reconstructive surgery, and I would love to support this community by becoming next year's Secretary.
