Esandhi Thilakarathne

I have been volunteering at teddy bear hospital this year and I have found the experience amazing and enriching. I wish to be a part of committee next year to help deliver these events to schools and to give back to the community that has shown me so much love and support. I believe that I am an excellent candidate for school liaison officer due to the excellent communication and organisational skills that I possess. Currently there is a document that provides information to the school. I wish to create a video which visually shows how the stations are run. By using an alternative form of media, I hope to deliver the information in an engaging format. Over the last 2 years, I have delivered a number of teaching tutorials for younger years so I possess the time management skills needed to manage the admin work that the role requires. I also possess the organisational skills needed to ensure that I meet the necessary deadlines. I believe that the ideas and dedication that I will bring to this role will facilitate the smooth running of the sessions.
