Orca Chen

Hi everyone. I am Orca Chen, a second-year Biological Science student. Throughout my two years at Imperial College London, I have consistently sought out opportunities to make a difference in my community. Whether through volunteer work, internships, or extracurricular activities, I have always been drawn to roles that involve connecting people and providing meaningful supports.

As a candidate for Donor Recruitment Coordinator in Imperial Marrow Society, I am eager to implement my:

1. strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential donors and inspire them to become familiar with our core motivations and awareness of blood disorders.
2. Strong time management to efficiently prepare the recruiting activities such as picking up ideal locations and designing innovative strategies.
3. Organizational abilities and attention to details which will enable me to run the donor recruitment process smoothly, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and meaningful.
