I am Josephine Lam Sum Ying, a dedicated MEng Civil Engineering student at Imperial College London, eager to spearhead the Events team. My vision is to curate purpose-driven and innovative events that promote sustainability and entrepreneurship. With a focus on environmental sustainability and a background in Civil Engineering, my internship at Jacobs Engineering Group Inc provided hands-on experience in quality management, structural assessments, and client communication. As a part-time secretary at Wing King Tong Printing Company, I utilized Excel for meticulous transaction tracking. Beyond professional roles, I actively participated in a startup project, securing a top-ten position in the Mergers & Acquisition competition. My leadership roles as Social Officer showcase effective organizational and promotional skills. Proficient in Microsoft tools, MATLAB, and Python, I am eager to bring my diverse experience and passion for sustainability to the Head of Events role in the Climate Entrepreneurs Club.
