I'm Raaga, and I'm running to be secretary this year. I was anxious about feeling homesick after moving so far away from home, however attending Telugu society events has helped me feel better, and made me feel like I was back home. I have made many meaningful connections, and memories attending these get-togethers whether small or big. Therefore, to contribute back to this amazing community, I would like to run as secretary for the next academic year. I would like to bring this community closer, by organising more inclusive, cultural, charitable and collaborative events (with other societies). As someone, who is very deep-rooted in Telugu art and culture, I would like to bring forward more awareness to our rich art forms as well. So, get ready for another year of warmth, happiness and telugutanam.
