I'm Jiaqi, from the tropical island of Singapore.

I’m thrilled to run as Treasurer, to use my skills, energy and passion to make the most of the EFDS Society to enrich your university experience.

0) Financial Undertakings

Having managed large-scale activities with over 500 participants like orientation and food events for my past student faculty, I’ll be strategic, transparent and efficient in handling society funds.

I also wish to expand our financial base by actively seeking sponsorships by firms or establishments to support initiatives and events.

Buckle up for some engaging activities that I wish to propose!

1) Speakers and Skills Classes

I aim to reach out to guest speakers and enable you to join relevant skill-building classes – think crash courses in programming languages and artificial intelligence.

2) Collaborations and Networking

I will advocate for joint events, networking sessions, and challenging competitions in collaboration with other college societies.

3) Global Learning Journeys

To broaden our horizons, I propose learning journeys to iconic economic and financial centers in the UK and abroad such as Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Germany, where we can visit museums, technology hubs, and central banks.

I aim to be not just your Treasurer but also your ally in creating a collaborative, and eye-opening experience for EFDS students.
