Hello, I’m Grace, a first year Economics, Finance and Data Science student, interested in the Treasurer position within the Venture Capital and Private Equity Society.

My background includes valuable work experiences at HSBC, PwC, and St James’ Wealth Management, where I gained practical insights into financial operations and management. Additionally, my involvement in co-founding the Economics Society during my sixth form years has equipped me with strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills, which are essential for the Treasurer role.

If given the opportunity to work as Treasurer, I am committed to ensuring transparent and efficient financial management for the society. My attention to detail will enable me to maintain accurate records, develop comprehensive budgets, and make informed financial decisions that align with the society’s goals and objectives.

Furthermore, I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment within the society, where members feel valued and supported. I will ensure that the society’s financial resources are utilised effectively to benefit all members.
