Selina Yeung

Hi! My name is Selina and I’m a current first year Biological Sciences student, running for the role of Sponsorship Officer.

As sponsorship officer, I plan to maintain a strong relationship with our current partners, through clear and consistent communication. I will also proactively seek new sources of funding so that BioSoc is able to continue holding a variety of academic, creative and social events.

I have had previous experience in liasing with external organisations, having worked with different NGOs to run awareness weeks at my school. I’m also a member of AIESEC, where I’ve collaborated with people from different countries, societies and schools to manage events for students at Imperial!

Through my experiences I’ve developed strong communication and organisational skills, and as sponsorship officer I will be capable of working with existing sponsors and external organisations. In this role I plan on expanding our current directory of sponsors and displaying the strengths of BioSoc – a society that has something for everyone no matter where your interests lay, and is a welcoming community for new and existing Biology students.
