Yasmin Owadally

Hi! I'm the current Chair of SwiftSoc and would love to be again for next year! I have loads more plans for the society, and hopefully we will have funding so we will do reduced tickets for Swiftaggeddon, the candlelight concerts, cinema tickets, and more. I would like to lead the committee for another year so there is a well established basis for this fairly new society. I also look forward to doing collaborations with more societies this coming year. I have learnt a lot from our first year running as a official society and second year in existing so I just know that this next year will be even better! I'm committed to bringing our community together as we support Taylor Swift and all the other artists like her, like Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Gracie Abrams, Maisie Peters and many more! I love to welcome new fans, old fans, freshers or final years, or people looking to try something new! SwiftSoc is a very friendly and kind space for me in my life and I enjoy the positivity it brings (like Taylor herself :D) so I look forward to that continuing!
