Hi everyone, I'm Kavya!

As a brown woman in physics I often feel quite out of place in my course and after chatting to a couple of you guys I have realised a lot of you feel the same way. I believe physics is for everyone and no one should feel out of place when studying what they love.

As cultural diversity and inclusion officer I would like to be able to highlight the work of non western physicists through panels and talks given by external people who are familiar with these topics. I would like to cultural weeks to spotlight different cultures and their impact in the world of science.
