Hi, I’m Lucy! As president I plan to continue running a kind and friendly society as I really value building strong relationships and creating a positive and inclusive community. I think the best society is one that is warm and welcoming as I found this especially helpful when going to events as a first year myself and is a key aspect of the society that I plan to continue to build upon! These events were lovely as they allowed me to socialise and connect with so many friends, peers, and mentors. As well as providing women with a safe space to talk to one another and gain advice from older years. I want to keep this going into next year and have even more fun and exciting events!
