A social secretary should strive to have outstanding logistical skills, specifically related to planning events, handling budgets, and promoting events to members in an engaging manner. It is important to maintain communication channels amongst members and to gather feedback to thus foster a sense of community.

Managing the extremely important role of social secretary beside a challenging maths degree would normally prove to be difficult. Luckily, being 30 lectures behind gives me ample time to focus my time and energy into ensuring that I bring the BEST socials throughout the year to HinduSoc.
