Kalista Lam

Hey guys!

My name is Kalista and I am running to be your MedTech Sponsorship Lead next year! I was fortunate enough to have been on ICSM RAG and MedTech Sponsorship last year (yes, I am running for the same role again I just loved it that much), as well as Conference Chair for ICSM Haematology Society. I was the sponsorship lead on a Gadget Fair with UCL and Bart’s as part of Imperial MedTech, as well as organizing RAG’s first ever conference at the start of the year. I experienced first- hand the frustrations that came with raising money and understand the importance of starting early with event planning. Throughout the year I had to change focus on what type of companies to contact and how I approached sponsors to build a good rapport. I hope to take that into next year build upon all the great work the team has done, to make next year’s events even bigger and better! I am really excited to have the opportunity to be your MedTech Sponsorship Lead for another year!
