Hey everyone, I'm Diya! I'm thrilled to apply for the position of Promotions Lead in Medtech.

I think it's amazing that we are able to be involved in such a dynamic field, through Imperial MedTech Society, whereby innovation meets healthcare, and learn about how technology is revolutionising the way we approach research, patient care, and practice medicine as a whole. I've been captivated by the potential of medical technology and how positively it can transform our industry; from the employment of 3D bioprinting to generating patient-specific prosthetics and anatomical models to enable personalised treatment plans, to robotic surgery systems which can assist surgeons in performing procedures with great precision, reducing the risk of human error and speeding up recovery times and reducing patient risk.

My interest in this ever-changing, exciting field is why I am eager to apply for the role of Promotions Lead in MedTech society. I am excited to be at the forefront of sharing my passion for medical technology with fellow Imperial students, and foster a community of individuals where we can all explore and appreciate the innovations that will shape the future of medical practice.
