Hellooo! I’m Angélica (image included not true to size or current hair length), but you might know me as the person who’s always willing to give a summary of the book at meetings, even if she hasn’t read it. I’ve been attending the sessions of book club extravaganza for the past two years, so you may have already been lucky enough to witness my non-stop talking. For those of you who might find that (and possibly me) slightly unappealing I shall remind you that the more I talk, the less biscuits I eat. I think I would be a valuable addition to our lovely committee and have many ideas for trips (Keats’ house in Hampstead…?) and activities to do during which I might possibly overshare as I wax lyrical about Nabokov. Again, if that is not convincing enough to elect me as social secretary, I’ll say that I’m Spanish so I know how to organise a good party (I think?).
