Hello all!
My name is Sebastian and I’m a 2nd year Biochemist, I know reading through these manifestos can be awfully tiring and boring, so I’ll keep it short and sweet with what I intend to deliver to the society.
Throughout my time at Imperial, I’ve had the great pleasure of meeting some of the brightest and most inspirational people out there, particularly at the Investment society. I have always been very impressed and inspired by the commitment of the Investment society to deliver useful and helpful information to students and therefore have decide to run as head of editorial.
My primary objectives as Head of Editorial would be the following: I want to ensure that this position becomes more impactful and useful to current and future members of the society and I intend on doing this by actively researching and publishing information on new internship opportunities as well as information on role specific courses designed to help students better understand this industry.
I believe that information is key to succeeding in finance and therefore I am also committed to sending out weekly briefings on major financial stories and roundups of current financial affairs. This is to ensure that members of the society are always well informed on the current financial state of the world, something which is incredibly important when considering entering this field, particularly for interviews!!
Breaking into finance can seem incredibly daunting and difficult to navigate, it is my mission to make it easier for everyone!
