On the 9th of December 2023, at 6:30 AM as Tejas and I made our way through the cold rain as "Volunteers" to help out as JB, neither of us would have thought that soon enough we'd be running to be heads of the event that had made us leave our warm, comfy beds this early in the morning.
That day, I managed to experience the very best that JB has to offer: sitting in that theatre watching the tech run-throughs, ensuring that the stage was ready for the show and overseeing the dancers. At no point in the 6:30am to 11pm day did I feel a sense of fatigue or boredom, but instead kept hoping that the day wouldn't come to an end. In the final few moments of the show, as I held the doors open for the audience and my adrenaline reached its highest levels, I decided that I wanted to run as JB head for 2024. As the Head of Finance for my school science magazine, I was responsible for finding sponsors to fund the annual printing, important for such a show. Furthermore, as the Head of Genetics in the Biochemistry Society, I organised practicals for the society and had an idea of the backend communication required to organise events. These skills can be perfectly channelled into organising an incredible Just Bollywood 2024.
