Khushi Srivastava

Hi everyone, my name is Khushi and I would love to be your Secretary this year! Clinical genetics is an exciting and dynamic field that I would like to explore more and I believe have the right skill set for this role.

This past year, as Academic Officer, I have organised tutorial series for Immunology and Pharmacology society and I hope to use these organisation and communication skills for planning future events. I also have been involved in securing funds for Teddy Bear Hospital committee and taken part in event organisation for Medathon which has given me insights into budgeting.

As part of the committee I aim to:

• Facilitate efficient communication to allow smooth running of meetings and events
• Build on the clinical skills tutoring scheme by providing more guidance and resources for both tutors and tutees
• Organise talks for students to learn about various career pathways
• Collaborate with other societies for social and academic events to increase outreach

As your secretary, I will make sure to always bring my enthusiasm and attention to detail. I look forward to learning new skills and working with the team!
