Chloe Cheung

Hi I'm Chloe, a 2nd year mech eng student who is passionate about technology and management.

Running for the Events Manager at WIB, I hope to organise a range of social and career events for members in order to encourage engagement within society. Additionally, I would like to take the initiative to take on a leadership role after being a member this year as I am eager to work with women in business.

Being the Publications Officer for the Chinese Society this year, I have designed and managed social media posts as well as liaising with societies from different universities to organise activities which have developed my communication and leadership skills throughout the year. I think my strong communication and organisation skills would make me a good fit for the events manager role.

As events manager at WIB, I hope to increase our society's awareness and maintain active engagement within society while holding inclusivity and diversity as the main objectives. I will make events more relaxed and diverse so members can explore different career options and encourage active participation. I am always up for challenges and am open to opinions and suggestions.
