Hello everyone,

I'm Ivin, and I'm excited to be running for Features Editor of Gazette for the next year!

Having been an enthusiastic reader of Gazette since my first year, my current role as Academic Editor on the committee has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. Whether it's gathering academic articles from our talented writers, spearheading Gazette's online blog, or crafting, designing, and publishing this year's BSc guide, every moment has been a delight! I firmly believe in the Gazette's significant role within the ICSM Community, and I am eager to contribute further as Features Editor next year.

My objectives as Features Editor include:

- Creating more avenues for writers to participate in the Gazette and share their perspectives and insights.
- Collaborating with external speakers and doctor-authors to create writing workshops and commissioned articles.
- Exploring diverse and fascinating medical career paths, particularly those in medical writing, humanities, environment, and technology.

In addition to my tenure as Academic Editor for ICSM Gazette this year, I am also a Committee member of Imperial College's Student Newspaper, Felix, having written and edited articles for the paper as well as national charities such as Makeamedic. I hope to carry forward my passion for this society next year and can't wait to help Gazette grow from strength to strength!
