Mustafaa Khan
Hello! I'm Mustafaa, a second-year medical student, excited to apply for core committe member at Immunology Society.
My passion for immunology aligns seamlessly with the society's vibrant trajectory under the current committee's leadership. I am eager to sustain this positive momentum in the coming year. This year I have been involved with immunology PassPom series as a lecturer and through my role as the Infectious Diseases Society Publicity Officer I have been on promotions team for our joint conference with Immunology Soc.
Throughout the past year, I undertook six distinct committee roles, including Publicity Officer for Infectious Diseases, SORA National Conference Lead, Pharmacology Officer, Nutritank Events Officer, and MedEd Webmaster. Juggling these roles has honed my timemanagement and collaboration skills. I have gained specific insights into leading a conference, expanding a society and delivering high quality events for members.
As a general committee member, my aim is to uphold the high standards of the Immunology Society while introducing fresh perspectives. I am prepared to collaborate with the committee to explore new initiatives. Some of my proposed enhancements include:

Promoting Immunology BSc: I advocate for a talk to spotlight Immunology BSc, recognizing its often-overlooked significance.

Diverse Journal Club Sessions: I propose tailored journal club sessions catering to both medical and biomedical students.

Collaboration for Educational Expansion: I envision expanding educational content by partnering with other societies, fostering collaboration with entities such as ID Soc (which I also hope to be in the committee of)
