- Academics: ICSMSU Academic Chair; MedEd Crashcourse Lead & Societies lecturer (Yazz)
- Outreach: Nutrition4Youngsters School Scheme Lead (Yazz)
- Event organisation: Hockey Social Secretary (Steph); MedTech/SORA Events Lead (Yazz)
- Publicity: Surgical Publicity Officer (Yazz)
We are extremely dedicated and will utilise our extensive experience to maximise all facets of the society to increase our success and widen its reach within the community, alumni and beyond.
Our aims:
- Academics:
- Create 5th year weekend Crashcourse series in collaboration with GP, Psych & O&G society to increase attendance rate
- Update Mock PACES Mark schemes
- Plan Meet the Paediatricians event in advance
- Alumni & Careers:
- Spotlight on alumni via the newsletter
- Alumni dinner
- Networking events with throughout the year
- Publicity:
- Utilise LinkedIn to create a community of alumni which eases facilitation of speaker recruitment for events/conference
- Outreach:
- Create subcommittee
- Build a volunteering programme at schools focused on medicine application process
- Focus on building relationships with organisations
- Conference:
- Focus on increasing attendance rate of older years & junior doctors
- Keep CPD training accreditation points
- Play-Team:
- Support with transition of losing St Mary’s
- Review storage facilities/toy inventory to maximise efficiency & cut down to compensate for losing St Mary’s Storage
- Sponsorships:
- Maintain sponsor relationships
