Michelle Wang

Hello, my name is Michelle. It would be a privilege to be considered for the role of Secretary in the Dermatology society.

Throughout my gap year and academic journey, I have honed a diverse range of experiences and skills that I believe make me well-suited for this role. This includes providing clear and effective communication, working collaboratively with members of the team, time-management, organisational skills and decision-making that I believe will help me become a good fit for the role. I have a clear understanding of the responsibilities associated with the Secretary role and the tasks that I need to do such as organising appropriate meeting times and locations, keeping meeting minutes and facilitating communication within the society.

I am interested in the field because it’s unique in the combination of medical science, visual diagnosis and therapeutic artistry. It always amazes me how the skin, out body’s largest organ, reflects our body’s internal health and external. My interest for dermatology and commitment to the society's mission drive me to contribute positively to its growth and success.
