Hi everyone I'm Kavya!

As someone who absolutely loves the WSET society I am very excited to be running for social secretary. I have been Social ,Media and Events Manager for Imperial Badminton Club for the last year and I have learnt a lot about what it takes to organise and manage a wide variety of events. This is why I believe I have what it takes to help with event proposals and risk assessments.

As social sec I would like to organise more frequent social outside of networking and academic related socials. This is because I want people in the society to use these socials to get to know everyone better so we can form a really nice supportive community. I believe life in Imperial can be quite isolating so building this community where everyone feels included is important to me. I would like to arrange a wide variety of socials from bowling to cozy movie nights.
