Charles Ramos
Hello everyone, my name is Charles and I am a first-year chemistry undergraduate at Imperial.
Firstly, I thank the CathSoc family for being a warm and wholesome place to be since I joined. I am running for this role on the committee because I have the desire to give back to this community, especially for upcoming freshers who will be in a position similar to mine a year ago, bringing the welcoming energy the society has and ensuring everything will be smoothly organised. Having experienced service in my own church and Catholic youth group, I strive to lead by example, being grounded by our faith.
My vision for the society in the upcoming year would be one of spiritual growth, with opportunities to nurture, practice and live out our faith, both as a society and working with the wider Catholic church, as well as a continued place for fellowship, cultivating an environment where people are free to express their faith and meet like-minded people outside of their courses, so that together we may grow in love and service. And of course, I pledge to make sure the Wednesday lunchtime sandwiches will keep on coming!
With every blessing,
Charles Ramos
