Angela Song
Hi all,
My name is Angela Song, and I am a second-year biotech student. I am running for the position of Secretary for Pharmacology. As someone deeply passionate about pharmacology, I am eager to contribute to the success and growth of our society. If elected, I aim to to accomplish the following:
- Effective Communication: As Secretary, I will ensure that all members are well-informed about upcoming tutorials, talks, and events through group chats, regular emails, and social media updates.
- Smooth Organization: I will work closely with fellow committee members to assist in planning and executing events by securing venues and providing logistical support.
- Enhanced Engagement: I will actively seek feedback and suggestions from our members to tailor our activities to their interests and needs, as well as to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment.
From my past experiences as the secretary of a student council, as well as leaders of various clubs I have developed relevant communication and organizational skills necessary for successfully carrying out meetings and events. I believe that these skills are essential for the role of Secretary and will enable me to effectively serve our society.
