Ryan Leung

Being a PA subcommittee member of ICPASS this year earned me the privilege of participating in various external events, all of which were highly informational and entertaining alike, has greatly substantiated my university life. Taking great pride as a member of this tightly-knit community, I am determined to devote my abilities and effort to aid in running the society and organising events as VPPA in the coming year.

Alongside the usual subcommittee duties, I had served as the Vice President of the La Salle College Air Cadets during the 2019-2020 year, and as a coordinator for 2 years in prior, during which I took up a major role in organising educational team building activities for members. Additionally, I was the Principal Person-In-Charge for the 3-hr detective game in the CUHK Chemistry OCamp 2023. As such, I am highly experienced in event planning and execution.

Having studied in CUHK also equipped myself with knowledge in issues specific to HK universities, such as current sociopolitical affairs and situations regarding HK students, which is invaluable in the context of public awareness in HK. Moreover, through collaboration I have familiarised myself with skills essential for society running, and the operations of a university society, of which I am positive there are procedures we can replicate at ICPASS to enhance member experience.

As a seasoned collaborator and communicator, I am sure that I can bridge amongst both internal and external PASS committee members, contributing to the inter-university PASS community with my proficiencies.
