Alexa Chew

Hi there! I’m Alexa, a 2nd-year Chemical Engineering student from Malaysia. A little bit about me - I’ve loved reading since I was a kid and my favourite genres are romance, contemporary fiction and fantasy, and my favourite book is Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Book club is such a fun society and it's an amazing community full of the loveliest people. I am the current book club treasurer and I'd love to continue my involvement as treasurer for the 24/25 academic year.

I’m generally a friendly and outgoing person (feel free to talk to me about books or anything whenever!), and I also have strong leadership and communication skills from years of experience being involved in student committees, such as student council and MUN. I also have strong time management and organisational skills, from balancing extracurricular involvement and my academics. I'm passionate about making book club an enjoyable community for everyone, and I hope to have your vote to be next year's treasurer.
