As president, I will attempt to:

Improve publicity of the club and sport within the university:

• Update the “publicity secretary” role in the constitution:
  • Introduce a second publicity secretary to split the roles into gameday/results posts (photoshop) and making TikTok’s/reels (video editing)
  • Modify the role to update the wording to current social media platforms (Facebook/Twitter -> Instagram/TikTok)
• Use advertising during the recruitment phases.
• Create good relationships with the university and imperial athletes:
  • Send matchday results and pictures to get posted on IA Instagram.
  • Apply for the beginner-friendly badge.
• Consideration to add a “sustainability secretary” role with the aim to become the first sports society to be awarded the “sustainability badge”.

Bridge the committee roles:

• President and secretary to act as more of a bridge between publicity, social and sponsorship secretaries.

Continue improving the social side of the club:

• Work with the social sec to further improve on this year’s Super Bowl success.
• Continue to rebuild relations with cheer.
• Consideration to add a second social secretary if required.
• Attempt to improve recruitment of first years so that socials are well attended.
