Why vote for me?

—-> Support the goal of making connections with organisations that reduce climate change, invalidates inhumane conflict, and improves lives.

—-> Have events where companies discuss their current projects instead of briefly introducing them. This allows us to have an in-depth understanding of what is expected of us as engineers and how these businesses are developed. Alumni talks will showcase honest career pathways. Events will have free food and merchandise for us to enjoy :)

—-> Have your say on which industry sectors we should invite for events, and when, through regular, anonymous surveys.

—-> Put forward your feedback on how career events have been conducted, and suggest ways to improve them, anonymously.

—-> Get more work shadowing, or insight-week opportunities for first years as internships are mostly for second and third years.

What relevant experience do I have?

As an industrial relations and sponsorship associate in year 1, I have helped organise the SME Event 2024 where we brought medium enterprises and startups to promote their sustainability goals. This included meeting companies to finalise dates, location and agenda, and, promote the event to students.
