Hi everyone!

My name is Celina and I’m running for 2s captain!!

Despite just joining the club this year, being part of the 2s has been an incredibly exciting experience and has made me want to be more involved for next year!! Having joined the 2s as a netball fresher, I was quite nervous, but the warm welcome from senior members, not to mention the one and only Hauwa, made me feel like an instant part of the team.

As captain, I want to create the same inclusive environment for next year whilst maintaining the level of competitive spirit and motivation. With a lifelong love for netball and past leadership roles in sports back in high school, I understand the commitment and responsibility this role demands. My goal for next year is to meet and exceed the high standards set, fostering an inclusive team culture where each player of the team feels valued and supported. And of course, I will be continuing the tradition of bringing some delightful treats to our matches :)
