Mathematics: Social Events Officer

Hi All! I'm Bennie! As a candidate for the position of Social Events Officer at the Maths Society, I am committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community within Imperial Maths Soc. My manifesto is centered around my 3 promised obligations and reasons for why you could vote for me in working among our members through a diverse range of events and activities.

Inclusive Event Planning: I will ensure that our events cater to the diverse interests and backgrounds of all members within the Maths Department. By actively seeking input from our community,events that are inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their particular mathematical background or level of involvement in the society, will be organized. From my past experiences in highschool, the Christmas party managed by me demonstrated a vibrant success of joyful student gatherings.

Variety and Innovation: As an entertaining person myself, I pledge to introduce a diverse range of events that go beyond dull academic gatherings. From themed social nights to interactive gamings and competitions, I will strive to keep our calendar fresh and exciting! Additionally, I will take care of the diverse needs of international students from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and representation within the Maths Society.

Collaborative Partnerships: I recognize the value of collaboration and will seek partnerships with other societies, departments, and organizations both within and outside the university. I am especially skilled at leveraging resources and networks to host larger, more impactful events that benefit the entire student community
