Ena Hashimoto

I’m Ena, a second-year Chemistry student. I’m currently in women’s first team and although I only joined ICSM Tennis this year, I've had so much fun already through training and socials and I can confidently say that being part of this society was one of the best decisions I made this year!

I'd love to be part of the committee as a secretary and here are some of the reasons why I believe I’m suited for this role.

Firstly, I’m currently the treasurer of Japanese Society and as a committee, I understand the importance of having responsibility in the role, organisation, communication etc. which are crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the society. Although things may not be exactly the same for ICSM Tennis, I've gained a deep understanding of how the society is run, including event organisation, communication between the union/members/committees, budgeting, social media etc.; with all the skills and knowledge I have gained, I believe I’m able to not only contribute to the society as a secretary but also to support other committees.

Secondly, I felt so welcomed when I joined last year and as I got to know the current committees well, I felt that I'd love to be able to make sure everyone is having fun in this society just like how they did.

I promise to work to the best of my ability upon election so that we can have another amazing year with ICSM Tennis and I’m looking forward to it very much!
