Nish Pahuja
The role of a secretary is really important, as they are the face of the society committee, and are dealing on behalf of the society with other societies, the union and of course the society members. I would love to have the opportunity to be the communicator for the bioengineering society and interact with you all in the regular emails, and keep you posted with everything exciting that’s going on in the society.
As a secretary, I would:
- Provide updated information about not just the events organised by the bioengineering society, but also other relevant societies and the college which can help the students develop their bioengineering capabilities (and maybe get free food)
- Create a streamlined feedback process that can be used to share feedback about events so that we as a society can continue to improve and provide better events to our society members
- Ensure swift and smooth communication between the society committee and members, so the enthusiastic bioengineers are kept to date with the amazing events that are coming up, be it academic, well-being or social events.
- Coordinate with the rest of the committee to ensure the society runs smoothly.
Thanks for reading my manifesto, and I hope you vote for me😊
