Caving: Junior Treasurer

One Slov and countless weekend trips ago, I went on my first caving trip in Wales, and I have been hooked ever since. I went from being a fearful fresher to the club’s tackle master, and now I am ready to take the next step up and become treasurer.

My role as this year’s tackle master has taught me the art of making claims, so you can count on me to thoroughly inspect next year’s claims. The role also gave me a solid idea of club’s inventory and what its main expenses are, both of which are useful to know as treasurer.

I love this club and its amazing community. I am excited to be able to take on a large responsibility in the club’s management and help lead ICCC towards many more years of caving.

Yours ‘til I am finally no longer the club’s scapegoat,

Julien

(PS: disregard what I put under my presidential manifesto, my faff is purely material, and will therefore not be a problem for this role)
