I believe I did a pretty good job at this last year so I would like to give it another go. Having learnt a lot from the previous year I have so much more to give to MatSoc.

I have had a positive input on a lot of the MatSoc activities in the previous year and so far almost everything has been successful (the careers fair will be coming!). The amount of admin I have done is a bit ridiculous but seeing everyone getting wasted and having a great time at the annual dinner makes it all worth it. I have also put through a banging budget for MatSoc on the union website so we should get a substantial discount on our activities for next year which I can put into full effect.

At the end of the day, I have done MUCH more than my role entails as a treasurer so this puts me and the other re-running committee members in a great place to build solid foundations for future MatSocs by training up the younger years and getting some very positive momentum going for the future of the society.
