Hey guys it's Peter,

I am here (again) to run for the ChemEngSoc Treasurer. It has been my third year on the ChemEngSoc committee, and I can guarantee that hardly anyone can beat my insight into the Society's finance.

Having managed several societies's accounts, I am experienced in

• handling various corporate transactions
• liaising with companies and negotiating for sponsorship (more free pizzas, wine & cheese, etc)
• budgeting for existing and new events
• coordinating with industrial relations and event officers to bring the best experience

What can you expect from me as a treasurer? I will make sure every transaction is made on time to support the event and, more importantly, get more bang for the buck! My goals for the upcoming year are

• Ensuring a balance between revenues and expenditure
• Bringing to you all a variety of social events such as New Year's Dinner, Pub nights, End of Term Parties, etc (I can hear someone calling for Boat Parties...)
• Partnering with IR officers to diversify companies' sponsorships
• Listening to members' opinions and exploring ideas for fresh events
