Mansi Sangani

Hi! I’m Mansi, a first year running for the Treasurer role in BioSoc. I have been an active member of the society throughout the year which has made me familiar with the ins and outs of what is expected of the role and believe I am a good fit.

Having attended an Accounting and Finance work experience, I have gained experience and skills which would enable me to effectively budget and ensure each event goes smoothly. Some things I would focus on if elected would be:

• Collaboration – I would collaborate closely with committee members to ensure that they have sufficient finances to be able to achieve their goals.
• Transparency – I will work with complete transparency, ensuring all decisions are made openly and with the rest of the team.
• Budget management – If elected, I would develop and maintain a detailed budget for the society. I would regularly review this to ensure alignment with the society’s goals.

Overall, it would be a great opportunity and honour to be a part of BioSoc. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in BioSoc so far and would love to be involved behind the scenes.
