Shlok Shah

Hi everyone, I'm Shlok and would love to be the president of the Hindu Society next year.

Having been the Vice-President on the committee this year, I take immense pride in what we have done this year as the largest cultural society at this university and I am eager to take the society to the next level next year.

This year, our Navratri, Diwali, and Holi events have broken records, making them the best the university has ever witnessed. Looking ahead, I want to use the momentum created this year to keep hosting great events, but also add new elements to the society. One of my focus points would be to expand the range of dharmic activities within our society. This includes more frequent mandir visits, engaging guest speakers, vibrant aartis, and thought-provoking debates. I believe these activities will not only deepen our connection to our cultural roots but also bring our members closer togethers.

The Hindu Society has been a place where I personally, along with many others, have made many friends and feel like home, and I am genuinely grateful for the chance to lead this society in the upcoming year.
