Lakith Gabrielsen

Hi, I'm Lakith, 2nd year medic and avid prog metal / metalcore enjoyer. Having fully immersed myself in the London metal scene this year I'm eager to support the further growth of metalsoc in the coming year and spread the meaning of trve cvlt across Imperial (and beyond).

As vice president I will:

• Help organise events such as pub gatherings and gig visits, catering for the wide variety of individual of music tastes we have within the society.
• Diversify the social calendar by introducing events such as karaoke and gaming nights (soundtracked by metal of course).
• Liase with local organisations to get the best deals on local gigs.
• Promote greater collaboration with other university metal societies across London.
• Ensure everyone gets a voice (whether they be cleans or demon gutturals) in order to effect positive change within the society and promote greater inclusion.
