Hi everybody!
My name is Daniel, and I have had the privilege of serving you and our union through sending a year’s unstopped sponsorship email attempts. This past year, our collective efforts with the sponsorship teamhave (a quick shout for the kind collboration and support from DepSoc and Clubs!) borne fruit, most notably through partnerships with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Aston Martin F1 (AMF1), which have not only bolstered our financial resources but have significantly enriched our community's professional and academic development.
I want to continue forging strategic partnerships with esteemed organizations like IET and AMF1, securing valuable resources and opportunities for our members.
In terms of my vision as Your Sponsorship Officer, I want to:
- Expand and diversify sponsorship: Leverage my experience and relationships to broaden our sponsorship portfolio, attracting partners that resonate with our diverse interests and academic pursuits
- Enhance value for our members: Each sponsorship will be more than financial support—it will be a gateway to internships, mentorships, and exclusive industry insights
- Strengthen community engagement: Introduce innovative programs that directly involve you in the sponsorship process, from selection to execution, ensuring our partnerships reflect our collective ambition and values
